Currently two independent electron beam systems exist for UCSB Free Electron Lasers. The 6 MV system consists of a recirculating beam electrostatic accelerator and a beam switchyard accomodating the MM, FIR, and 30µm FELs. The 2 MV system consists of a horizontal tandem electrostatic accelerator containing an inlign beam transport for the CW, MM Wave FEL.
